COVER STORY

This morning has been spent drinking coffee, eating croissants (naughty- we’ll never get our beach bodies at this rate!) and browsing the fresh new glossies that have been landing on our desks. This month´s selection is a bit of a celeb-fest (not that we´re complaining) so we thought we´d round a few up for you.

Here are a few of our top picks from the dreamy world of the fashion magazines this month...

Quality luggage is a good investment, not only will it last you for years, but it often actually gets better with age (especially if its got Louis Vuitton on the label!), and no one wants to be greeted by their host and hostess for the weekend with a plethora of old tennis bags on their arm.
AmourShoes.co.uk do travel bags in convenient sets. Two different sizes - one for a weekend and one for a longer trip away - they make a fabulous wedding present. Our favourite comes in black or coffee .

For effortless unpretentious style, you can't beat Mulberry . Their quality leathers, be it on a soft 'Clipper Bag' or a 'Moulded Suitcase', are timeless.
The classic man appreciates Dunhill , and love or hate cricket, you'll appreciate the Dunhillion Cricket Holdall, made from beautiful tan leather.
48.jpgTheir 'Motorities' range is made from sand cotton canvas and trimmed with rich brown cowhide - the 'Transporter' from the range comes with and without wheels and a tuck away handle.
20.jpgSwaine Adeney Brigg manufacture some of the finest luggage to be had.
Even their suitcases, equipped with handles and wheels, maintain their traditional look. They even make canvas covers which fit around your cases for flying - ensuring your luggage is returned to you in the same state you left it. Their 'Countryman Suitcase' and 'English Bridle Hide Leather Chesterford' sets of trunks are unprecedented class.
For a more modern, but equally luxurious, twist on the traditional trunk, you must visit Rupert Sanderson . His passion for beautifully crafted shoes has spread to beautifully crafted luggage and his collection made from cream velum, stretched over lightweight wooded frames, and edged in a choice of 22 different colours of leather is luxe that you can't help but fall in love with.

FASHIONABLE MONTH IN PARIS!!!!

Fashion Week in a Fashionable Month!!!!

Secretly, fashion-lovers worldwide are breathing a collective sigh of relief. On the night of the 7 Th of March saw the final show of Paris Fashion Week and in turn, the end of the fashion industry’s busiest month ever.
We’ve had our hands glued to our phones as flurries of tweets and backstage snaps have kept us on top of what’s what over the past few weeks. It’s hard keeping up! From striking fashion shows like Louis Vuitton’s genius steam train catwalk, to Burberry’s very British downpour on the runway, we’ve seen it all.
Having so many high profile shows it’s been hard to ignore the celeb force out there. Not happy with pinching all the front row seats (yes Alexa Chung, we’re talking to you!) they’ve managed to take over Fashion Week in every possible way.
Whilst we loved Victoria Beckham’s tailored dresses and military detailed coats, there are some stars who should stick to the stage they know best. Yes that’s you Kanye West. Possibly the most celebrity packed show, everyone from Alicia Keys, Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian (who turned up in head to toe K.W) squeezed their way in.
Now that it’s all over things aren’t likely to quieten down. We can’t wait to see how our favourite stars will be wearing these hot off the catwalk looks. Until next time Fashion Week!

WHERE WERE YOU????

Think Fashion Week is all about the clothes? Think again. For photographers, editors and stylists, it’s the models that matter.  Airbrushed portfolios?  Forget them.  When it comes to choosing the next big name, it’s all about the catwalk.  We give you the lowdown on who to watch out for.
Karlie Kloss
Think you’ve heard the name before?  Chances are you probably have.  We can’t MOVE at the moment without bumping into a Karlie Kloss campaign or magazine cover.  Currently the face of Oscar de la Renta, she also recently appeared in Victoria’s Secret catwalk show.  It was all glitter ball dresses, neon accessories and thigh high boots. It’s no wonder Leonardo DiCaprio was rumoured to have his eye on her!
Milly Simmonds
This girl’s got it sorted.  After catwalk appearances for Peter Pilotto and Mulberry last March, she was quickly snapped up by Burberry for one of their covetable campaigns.  Talk about fast mover.  Since then, she’s become the face of Hanro lingerie.  How we wish we had a figure like hers!  There’s no stopping her.
Elena Bartels
Elena Bartels has done the impossible: walked for fashion’s big hitters without one single editorial shoot.  Unheard of?  Pretty much.  It’s all thanks to her high cheekbones and bee sting pout.  We can definitely see why our favourites Prada, Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana have all been after her.  Watch this space.

Unpardonable Relationship Sins: What WON'T You Tolerate?

Let's face it, we all have a breaking point on what we will and will not tolerate within the confines of our relationships. It's just that most individuals are different from one another in what they WILL tolerate. One woman or man's comfort zone is another person's breaking point.

This in itself is a very interesting observation because there are many factors that go into making us the individuals that we are and therefore what we will settle for in our personal lives.

Some people will abandon a romantic union at the first hint of foul play while others will hold on to the illusion of what could be far to long and sometimes bring themselves into an early demise merely because they wouldn't let go!

Tonight we will share our personal limits of what we will allow to happen and why and pretty much debate on what a mate will do that is considered going a bit too far in crossing that line into the forbidden zone.

Stealing? Bad manners? Domineering personalities? Infidelity? Irresponsibility and laziness? Poor personal hygiene? Inconsiderate ways? Some will quickly and boldly say hit the door while others will merely take it on the chin for the "good" of the relationship without a fight and hope for a better day to come!

While every situation is different, one woman may have a cheating man who adds nothing to the pot as she may be independent of him and is empowered to quickly tell him to leave while another woman may be dependent on her philanderer and be intimidated by the outside world and choose to stay for the luxury of the lifestyle he provides.

So as you can see, it is not as simple as you think as far as having a one size fits all answer to this controversial issue.

What are the Unpardonable Relationship Sins and what might we do when they are committed?

Put your round toe forward for a new you 2012...

I'm a disciple of the Fashion school of thought - a woman can never have too many shoes. In fact, someone once said that a great pair of party shoes has a shelf life of about seven outings, and I must say I'm inclined to agree - after seven outings they begin to look a bit tired.
With that in mind, I imagine the thought of last winter's old footwear doesn't exactly fill you with excitement....what you need, is something new!
The majority of shoes and boots this autumn are round toed. Pointy will, worry not, always be classic, stylish and most importantly flattering on the leg, but this autumn the shape to be seen in is definitely round.
Amourshoes.co.uk is a wonderful online shop that's always in line with the latest trends. They've embraced the round toe in their Autumn / Winter 2010 collection and the first deliveries are now available to purchase online. Here are some of our favourites:
Pumps will always be a key staple for your wardrobe and Amourshoes New Women casual flat shoes (£15.99) are made from the softest leopard print inner lining and multi stud design. They'll go with everything and they're as comfy as anything.

These ladies high heel shoes (£17.99) with an antique zips buckles are just the thing for this season. Team them with skinny jeans (yes they're in again too!) and an oversized sweater.

Equestrian is big this  winter and whilst Tracy's riding hats might look at bit OTT in the office - these Amourshoes faux suede black patent boots (£29.99) wont. They're the ideal riding boots and are only available in black, sorry .
